Horse Development

  • Valorization is a tailored approach to developing each horse’s confidence, technical knowledge, rideability, and potential. Every horse is different in age, experience, skill set, temperament, and goals, so Camille builds an individualized program that allows each horse to progress at its own pace.

  • Camille can travel to the owner’s facility to train and develop the horse within its existing environment, or the horse can join L’Histoire Stables under Camille’s full training and management for a minimum three-month program. The program evolves with the horse and can include competition opportunities when Camille feels the horse is ready.

  • The program is built around what each horse needs at that stage of its education—from groundwork and confidence-building to technical development, under-saddle refinement, conditioning, and show preparation. The focus is on creating a confident, capable horse with a strong foundation for continued progression.

  • Yes. When a horse is ready, showing can become part of its development program. Competition provides valuable experience and allows Camille to assess the horse in a different environment while progressively building confidence and knowledge in the show ring.

  • Horses joining Camille’s program have a minimum three-month commitment, allowing enough time to understand the individual horse, establish a consistent program, and create meaningful progress rather than rushing the process.

  • Absolutely. A young horse beginning its education has very different needs from a more experienced horse requiring refinement or greater confidence in the show ring. Camille considers the horse’s age, current level, strengths, challenges, temperament, and potential to establish appropriate goals and continually adapt the program as the horse develops.

Horse Sales & Sourcing

  • Camille offers a personalized sourcing service focused on finding the right horse for the right rider. She begins by understanding the rider’s level, ambitions, preferences, and budget, then thoughtfully assesses the market to identify horses that genuinely fit those criteria.

  • Camille has direct access to the active horse markets across South Florida including Wellington and Ocala, making it easy to arrange and attend in-person tryouts. Her extensive and trusted European network also gives clients access to a broader selection of horses abroad, including opportunities that may not be widely advertised in the U.S.

  • Yes. When the right prospects are located outside the immediate area or abroad, Camille can travel with clients for dedicated tryout trips or travel to evaluate horses on their behalf. All travel-related expenses for Camille are covered by the client.

  • Camille guides clients from the initial search through tryouts and selection, carefully considering the rider’s level, goals, preferences, and budget throughout the process. She identifies and evaluates suitable prospects, coordinates appointments, participates in tryouts, and provides experienced guidance to help clients make an informed decision.

  • Whenever possible, yes. Trying the horse allows Camille to better evaluate its rideability, education, temperament, responsiveness, and suitability for the intended rider. The goal is not simply to find a talented horse, but to identify a compatible partnership with the potential for long-term success.

  • Yes. Camille provides professional sales representation, combining her established network with targeted advertising and online exposure. Services can include pricing guidance, advertisements and website listings, communication with prospective buyers and trainers, coordinating and preparing sales showings, professionally presenting the horse, and assisting with the process through the close of the sale.

  • Yes. Owners looking for a more comprehensive approach can place their horse with Camille through the full-service Consignment Program. In addition to managing the sales process, Camille oversees the horse’s daily program, training, care, professional presentation, marketing, buyer inquiries, and sales showings.

  • Camille combines online listings, and direct outreach with her network of riders, trainers, owners, and prospective buyers. This provides meaningful exposure while allowing inquiries and showings to be managed personally and professionally.

  • Horses are carefully prepared and shown in a professional environment so prospective buyers and their trainers can properly assess them. Camille and her team work to present each horse at its best while ensuring its abilities, temperament, experience, and potential are fairly and honestly represented.

  • Not necessarily. Sales representation and full-service consignment offer different levels of involvement depending on the horse and owner’s needs. For horses that would benefit from being under Camille’s management, training, or further valorization during the sales process, the Consignment Program provides the most comprehensive option.

  • Ride & Breathe is a one-on-one coaching program designed to transform the way you ride by first transforming the way you think. By combining mental coaching with real-time riding adjustments, Camille helps riders develop greater body awareness, mental clarity, confidence, and connection with their horse.

  • Ride & Breathe is for riders who are ready to move beyond fear, self-doubt, frustration, or the feeling of being stuck. Whether you’ve lost confidence, reached a plateau, developed habits that are holding you back, or simply feel that something is preventing you from progressing, the program helps identify and work through the mental, emotional, and physical barriers affecting your riding.

  • Transform the way you ride by transforming the way you think. The goal is not simply to improve technique, but to help you become a more aware, confident, and connected rider—and ultimately the rider your horse needs.

  • Ride & Breathe begins with a one-on-one introductory session to understand your challenges, goals, and riding experience and determine whether the program is the right fit for you. Riders who continue move into a personalized 3 months transformation program, with each session building on their individual progress.

  • The program is tailored to you, but the focus is on improving feel and body awareness, building confidence, breaking unhelpful habits, overcoming mental barriers and fear, and strengthening communication with your horse. Mental coaching and practical riding adjustments work together so that changes in mindset translate into changes in the saddle.

  • No. Fear and loss of confidence are important areas of the program, but Ride & Breathe is also for riders who have reached a plateau, feel disconnected from their horse, struggle to translate what they know into what they feel, or want to become more intentional and effective in the saddle.

  • Yes. Ride & Breathe is built around one-on-one sessions, allowing Camille to focus specifically on you, your horse, and the patterns or challenges affecting your partnership.
